At OLP, treatment plans and interventions are customized to suit each client.
OLP's focus is to help individuals improve their lives by deepening their understanding of their thoughts and feelings as well as the choices they make. With this understanding, individuals can access their inner resources and work from their strengths in order to become healthier and better able to meet the challenges of their day-to-day lives.
Feeling sad and worried are two of the most common reasons people seek treatment. While everyone experiences these two emotions at some point, individuals who have Depression, Anxiety, or both know that their symptoms and concerns go beyond a simple feeling. Through evaluation and treatment, individuals with depression and anxiety are able to learn more about their illness, understand the effect it has on them and their lives, and develop and implement a plan for recovery.
While attention issues can impact many people, individuals with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) know that difficulties with focusing and transitioning their attention are a central part of their life. Through evaluation and treatment, individuals with attention issues are able to learn more about their condition, understand the effect it has on them and their lives, and develop and implement a plan for improvement.
Adjustments Disorders can impact a person at any stage of life. They arise from the presence of a personally significant situation or experience that a person then has difficulty adapting to and working through. Through evaluation and treatment, individuals with an adjustment disorder or related issue can learn more about their difficulties, understand the effect it has on them and their lives, and develop and implement a plan for recovery.
